Prague – Prime Minister Petr Fiala (ODS) will discuss bilateral relations, the effects of the war in Ukraine and the European agenda with Austrian Chancellor Karel Nehammer today. They would also discuss the culminating preparations for the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU, which is in line in the second half of this year.
Fiala invited Nehammer to Prague for the first mutual meeting in February this year in Brussels. At the time of the two-day summit of the European Union and the African Union, he discussed with the Austrian Chancellor, among other things, the view of nuclear energy, which divides the Czechia and Austria. According to the APA agency, Nehammer wants to “reaffirm Austria’s opposition to nuclear energy”.
