Poland said goodbye to prof. Waldemar Paruch – political scientist, historian and political activist. The professor was born on September 15, 1964. I was a graduate of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. This is how he lectured at this university. In 2018, he became the Prime Minister’s plenipotentiary for the Center for Strategic Analyzes and the first head of CAS. Since 2020, he has been a member of the advisory team for the development of science and science. There was also sponsored participation in the operation of the educational and learning program.

– Today we have to say goodbye to our colleague, friend, companion – said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński at the funeral mass. – There was a man for us. – It is difficult to accept the departure of a man so devoted to Poland and Polish affairs – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. – prof. Paruch was rebellious. And like many of the best, the best people did not give fashion, he built his own concepts that were to search for development paths for our homeland. They joined the – not so together – procession of rebellious people who contributed immensely to our homeland.

– Prof. Paruch was an idealist and a romantic – but an idealist who did not fantasize. He based his thoughts, concepts and ideas on hard data and facts. He was able to combine them with each other in an extremely efficient way, with erudition and enthusiasm. He did so that he wanted very much, so that he inspired others to be unconventional – added the Prime Minister.
– The professor was a man of the Lublin region and a man a man. Extremely important own, very open, analytical mind, dedication and commitment to commitment, organizational commitment – to the commitment that in prof. I’ve always liked Paruch – said prof. Marek Pietraś director of the Institute of Political and Administrative Sciences, also insp. The Chair of International Relations at UMCS. – Always a supporter of comparative and practical political science, especially in the context of future innovative political science and his leadership style. Maybe the professor from there in a certain way and with constant protection of one of his technical assistance and in the academic environment with a Testimony. He was a very expressive person, very demanding, very specific, with very precise views, with the fact that you could disagree and argue. But to one thing they shaped you identities of identities that he translated into political ones.

– The professor was a very charismatic figure with a great deal of historical and political science knowledge. I helped with the cooperation in the “Eastern East Studies”, also in recent years in work between Poland and Poland. We have very fond memories of the cooperation – says Dr. Łukasz Lewkowicz from the Institute of Political Sciences and Administration at UMCS. – The professor’s death is a great loss for Lublin, for UMCS, and for the political science community. – Interview with prof. Waldemar Paruch never wrote anything new to Waldemar Paruch, because nothing was discussed with the scabbard. A ruling on things is drafted. And until the beginning of the conversation, he was always present and taught progress, he did not get acquainted with teaching and teaching – said the Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek. – Thank you for this cooperation, thank you for requiring so much from us. Thank you for the achievements that he left behind. Personally, one more thing: Waldemar was brought up with good students who were not honored by a few on ratch reserves at the ministry. Professor Waldemar Paruch was decorated on April 7, 2022 with the Commander’s Cross with the Star of the Order of Polonia Restituta. He died on May 8 after a long illness.
Funeral ceremonies would be of a state nature. Prof. Waldemar Paruch was buried in the parish cemetery in Tomaszowice.
