PRONOS PARIS RMC The bets of May 14 on Rennes – Marseille
Our prediction: Marseille do not lose in Rennes and both teams score (2.45)
If Rennes had won against Nantes on Wednesday evening, my prognosis would surely have been different. But the Bretons not only took a hit on the head at La Beaujoire but they played this match late while Marseille had a week of preparation for this meeting, capital in the race for the place of runner-up, at Roazhon Park. Even in the absence of Dimitri Payet, OM know how to win away from home (five wins, two draws and one defeat in all competitions) and have the best away record (twelve wins, three draws and three losses), by far ahead of PSG. The victory at Lorient (3-0) did the Phocaeans a huge boost, and they now have their destiny in hand to finish the championship in second place behind the Parisians. As Stade Rennais has experienced difficulties this season at home against direct competitors: defeat against Lille, Nice and Monaco, not to mention the one against Reims at the start of the exercise, I do not see OM losing in Brittany. And if that tilts to one side, it could well be in favor of the visitors.
