The ex-mayor of Prague 1, Lomeck, is guilty of selling the apartment below the price, he denies it
The owner of the seven-room apartment in Opletalov Street was won by the daughter of billionaire Pavlo Tyka’s mistress. She acquired 18 million crowns for him, according to prosecutor Tom Jarolmek. Jarolmek once told the newspaper that he would give a suspended sentence of two years and a fine of five and a half million crowns for the former mayor.
Some municipal politicians plead not guilty at the District Court for Prague 1, according to their testimony. Those things happened completely differently, he declared. According to Lomeckh, there were 20 flats in the center of Prague in general. The first office for the city center drew up the conditions of the court. The first problem at that time was the evacuation of the center, said the former mayor. In the conditions, for example, it was stated that one hunter may not buy more apartments or that real estate may not be sold to companies. According to Lomeckho, the city wanted to prevent rich people and real estate agencies from buying apartments as investments and selling them on Airbnb.

Recently, the mayor stated that he was aware of the price difference between how much the council approved the sale for and how much he let the apartment sell for. According to him, however, the terms of previous offers did not match. Having concluded the contract, he consulted with the firstborn according to his words. It was the most valid offer, he added. According to his statement, he did not know the applicant and he did not miss the day of the pension from the sale.
Lomeck said that he disagreed with the proposed fine. He testified that he is currently retired. In order to make the most of the early days, take the public transport bus.
