With these last competitions, we can make a small assessment of this season. Of the club’s staff, only 10 fencers have entered the various competitions from regional to national level.
In the region: 5 podiums including a title with Pauline LAJAMBE 1° in M15, 2° in M17 Épée Dame, Matthieu GABORIEAU 3° in M15 Épée Homme.
All the club’s U15s were selected for the U15 National ½ Final (Pauline, Matthieu, Jean PERESSON and Eline PETITJEAN)
Lucas DUFRAIGNE, Julien ARMENTI participated in the Senior National Circuits.
Guy PLATRET at the National Veteran Circuit.
3 selected for the next French Championships:

And Jean PERESSON who is currently selectable for the Men’s Regional Sword. His selection depends on his next and last selective test in Troyes on May 26.
After these last two difficult seasons for Esperance like other clubs and other sports, we can say that the path of renewal is back for our fencers and that hopes are emerging…
