Toulouse: tensions against the police in the Bagatelle district
The police were attacked twice earlier this week in the Bagatelle district of Toulouse. Four people were arrested.
The afternoons of Monday and Tuesday were tense in the Bagatelle district of Toulouse. On Monday, around 4 p.m., the police officers of the Mirail specialized field brigade carried out a public road operation intended to destabilize drug trafficking. And it worked so well that two individuals perched, without helmets, on a scooter started titling the officials. They brushed past them, sped up and honked their horns.
When checking them, the scooter driver fled but a procedure was written. The next day, around 4 p.m., these same police officers returned to the same place where they recognized the two suspects in the middle of a group of about ten people. These 17-year-old and 25-year-old boys were arrested.
A little later, around 4:15 p.m., still in Bagatelle, the BAC police went to a drug sales point. A man in his twenties started shouting to warn the dealers. A 16-year-old boy came running towards the police. He was arrested with around thirty grams of cannabis and €70. At that time, a 23-year-old man came to intervene. He incited the people who were there to throw stones at the police. They had to call in reinforcements. The second boy was arrested in turn.
