Florence, found several times in a state of intoxication in the station area: three urban daspo were issued
The recipients, if they do not respect the prohibition to enter the area, risk arrest from six months to a year
In fact, in the last month they have taken off new ‘Urban Daspo’ in Florence. The measures, drawn up by the Anticrime Police Division, were issued against three foreign citizens aged between 38 and 49, sanctioned and expelled for manifest drunkenness by the agents of the Railway Police of Florence in the area of Piazza Stazione.
It would involve people reporting several times in the past for various crimes, mostly against property and against the person, recently found by the State Police in an evident state of intoxication in the area around Santa Maria Novella.
“The urban Daspo, which in some respects resemble the Access Prohibitions to Sports Events, technically belong to the Dacur (Prohibition of Access to Urban Areas) and are measures introduced in the legal system by the Law Decree n.14 / 2017 as new prevention measures personal, of an ordering and interdicting nature, in order to protect the safety of certain places, prohibiting access to specific categories of people2, explains the Questura.
The aforementioned prevention measures adopted imposed on the recipients the no access to piazza della Stazione, via Valfonda, via Alamanni, Santa Maria Novella railway station, first floor and underground floors for a period ranging from 6 months to one year in specific cases. Failure to comply with the ban provides for arrest from six to one year.
