The Iris Festivals are back. The iris, the golden yellow flower that was common in the Brussels Marshes, was chosen as the logo for the Brussels Region. The flower is still honored together with the inhabitants, and people who come to Brussels to celebrate.
On Saturday, the Place des Palais added in a venue for a large electro dance party and Brussels residents celebrated the centenary of the Garden Districts. Beautiful neighborhoods provide, and are real gems.
Yesterday it was wonderful to stay in the Warande Park. You don’t know where to look first. Stilt walkers, jugglers, too many artists to list. Hungry? Then you don’t have to walk because food trucks are ready to let everyone enjoy a whole day on site.
