More than 10 runners will gather in the center of Prague on Sunday. I will take part in the 26th year of the RunCzech international marathon. However, because of this, traffic on the streets of Prague will be partially limited – and it will also affect public transport.

According to the spokesman of the Prague City Hall, Vít Hofman, details of the restrictions are available at website transport undertaking. “We recommend using the metro lines A and B in particular, the traffic will be strengthened,” adds the spokesman. The passage of cars will also be limited. The previous two years of the marathon were complicated by the coronavirus epidemic, and the organizers interrupted the marathon because of them. This year, however, up to 10,000 runners should participate – and, for example, the president of the RunCzech organizing committee, Carlo Capalbo, expects tourists from more than a hundred countries around the world.
