the Sainte Dévote tournament is making a comeback at the Louis II stadium
Canceled for the past two years, the famous rugby tournament bringing together the youngsters of the oval is preparing to celebrate its 10th edition, this Saturday May 7 at the Louis II stadium.
Organized by the Monegasque Rugby Federation and the Princess Charlene Foundation, the Sainte Dévote tournament, which bears the name of the patron saint of the Principality and Corsica, will welcome international teams bringing together young rugby players from the U12 category. The public will also be part of the party and will enjoy free entry to attend the Tournament.
Young people from all over the world expected
In 2019, the last year in which the tournament founded in 2009 was organized, 350 young people from 14 nations around the world had caressed the leather on the lawn of the Louis II stadium. The objective of the tournament, beyond the sporting aspect, is to highlight the values of rugby, dear to the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.

Here is the program for the day of May 7, 2022:
8:45 a.m.: First game
10 a.m.: Opening ceremony
12:45 p.m.: End of classification matches
1:30 p.m.: Beginning of the final stages
3:30 p.m.: Rugby for all
4:15 p.m.: Finals
5:30 p.m.: Awards ceremony
Alongside the competition, Rugby for All will also offer courses suitable for children and young adults with disabilities.
