Bag theft Prague 10: Thieves caught thanks to GPS
The thief stole in the tennis complex in Prague 10 on Sunday around one o’clock in the afternoon. In addition to tennis equipment, the tennis bag contained four rackets and tablets. The robbed woman did not hesitate and immediately called the city police.

Fortunately, the woman had GPS turned on in her tablet, so she could navigate the guards. The patrol immediately went to Rostislavova Street, where the man with the tablet was to be. “A police patrol of a man with a bag that matched the details in the smallest details was found in Nusle at the Horky public transport stop,” said city police spokeswoman Irena Seifertová.
The cops were on the scene within six minutes, the thieves caught the moment he tried to sell the silver tablet. A 40-year-old man made up a toy for the guards, which was soon refuted. He allegedly bought the bag from Spořilov from an unknown man and did not know that there was a tablet in it. According to GPS records, however, the tennis bag did not move in Spořilov that day.
“Things in the bag were estimated by the owner at 80 thousand crowns. On suspicion of committing a crime, the man was handed over to the state police for further resolution, “added Seifertová.
