AS Monaco-Angers: the official line-ups
The most in-form team in Ligue 1 with 6 consecutive victories, AS Monaco welcomes Angers to the Stade Louis-II (a match to follow live with commentary on Foot Mercato from 3 p.m.) with only one idea in mind: to continue with a new success. Indeed, Stade Rennais having won last night against Saint-Étienne, the Bretons regained a three-point lead over the Asémistes and therefore occupy only 3rd place, the last folding seat for the Champions League.
Philippe Clément must, however, deal with notable absentees: Axel Disasi, Aurélien Tchouameni and Vanderson. Which gives us a 4-2-3-1 with a Fofana-Matazo doublet in midfield. Same problem within the Maine-et-Loire team since Mohamed-Ali Cho and Sofiane Boufal cannot gallop on the meadows. In his 3-5-2, Gérald Baticle therefore rated Angelo Fulgini a notch higher with Marin Jakolis at his side on the front of the attack.
The official compositions:
AS Monaco: Nübel – Aguilar, Maripan, Badiashile, Caio Henrique – Fofana, Matazo – Diop, Golovin, Volland – Ben Yedder
Angers: Mandrea – Ebosse, Traore, Thomas – Bamba, Ounahi, Bentaleb, Mendy, Doumbia – Jakolis, Fulgini
