Why Toulouse Métropole will make money with the rise of TFC in Ligue 1
With the rise of the TFC in Ligue 1, the fee collected by Toulouse Métropole, owner of the Stadium, will increase considerably.
The rise in Ligue 1 of Toulouse Football Club, acquired after the victory Monday evening against Niort 2-0 at the Stadium, will not only benefit the club and its shareholders. Indeed, Toulouse Métropole, owner of the Stadium and its equipment, should benefit from a significant financial boost. In 2018, before the TFC descended to Ligue 2, the president of Toulouse Métropole, Jean-Luc Moudenc, had renegotiated with the former president, Olivier Sadran, the convention which binds the community to the club. The next ones city councils must take up this issue and continue to promote all sports”.
“Not an additional recipe but the end of a loss of recipe”

It is therefore not a question of additional revenue but of the end of a loss of revenue.” The elected official points out that the community has not passed on this drop in revenue to the subsidized clubs over the past two years.
