The original crèche in Hřebenky has undergone a gradual transformation and at the end of last year they were registered by the Ministry of Labor as children’s groups for the analytical criteria of the amended Act on Children’s Groups, with a total capacity of 48 children.
The children are cared for by a professional team of experienced staff focused on caring for this target group of children. The opening hours of children’s groups are at the request of parents from 7 to 17 hours. Children from 15 months to 3 years are accepted. Because children’s groups support the early return of parents to work, it is a condition that the parent is employed or studying, is self-employed or is actively applying for a job. Both children’s groups differ slightly in their programs and are adapted to the age groups of children and their developmental needs.
Children’s groups Hřebenka I and Hřebenka II
Children aged 15 months to 2.5 years are admitted to the Hřebenka I children’s group. Here we keep the motto: “Help me to do it myself”. We emphasize a respectful approach, it helps children to become independent and develop self-service. The mascot of this group are mice.
Children from 2 years to 3 years of age are admitted to the Hřebenka II children’s group. In this group we have the motto: “We are a guide to children’s cognition”, the mascot of this group are kittens.
Children in both are led to independence and deepening the acquired skills. At the same time, they are preparing for an easy transition to kindergartens. The common goal is to create a safe and stimulating environment. The plan of education and care is focused on the overall development of the child. The programs are created in the themes of the month, which are further and detailed in the weekly part. During organized activities, children are offered activities adapted to the age, abilities of children, but also to the themes of seasons and cultural events. When creating the program, the priority is to maintain the playful form, interest and the possibility of involving each child with the support of curiosity, interest and joy of discovery. An integral part and very daily component of the program is a game in which children relax, make contact with other children, develop imagination, design skills and fine motor skills.
The great advantage of children’s groups Hřebenka is a large garden full of greenery with play elements and an outdoor terrace for everyday use of a safe natural space for playing outdoor games, competitions, art workshops, joint events not only for children but also for their parents.
If you have any questions, please contact the head of the Hřebenka children’s groups, Mrs. Bc. Zora Nováková on the telephone number 774 246 007 or by e-mail [email protected].
