Development of the Invalidovna housing estate: Prague 8 You will involve the locals in it
The town hall will work with the locals on the study and it will be ready by the end of October this year. The housing estate is a so-called development site and construction is planned. The Invalidovna housing estate is located on the eastern edge of Karlín and was established between 1959 and 1967.
According to the document approved by the deputies, the study will contain regulatory elements, which define the current urban and architectural values of the housing estate and its surroundings. I will also provide a suitable urban solution for the area of Bohemia where construction is planned.
The document will be split in three parts. The first will be analytical, where the current state will be described and the problems of the given area will be defined. The second will be the graphic part with photos and maps. Property rights or technical infrastructure will also be included. The third will be the so-called design part, which will outline the further process and development of the housing estate.
They already dealt with the substitutable fateful housing estate at the February meeting, when they decided to set up a working group across all parties. Its members are not only representatives of all parties, but also locals. The meeting is today’s decision by the deputies to create a development study.
There are several development projects for the large area of Invalidovna. The development is designed for the part belonging to the Karlín area in Bohemia, investors are planning houses in Sluncová along the railway line, and the National Theater, which is planning to build workshops, also wants to build here.
