Coronavirus / Deaths in Greece are three times higher than in Europe
During the two days of Easter, EODY 66 losses, while yesterday we had 41 deaths
Although the pandemic is … over for the government, the deaths from coronavirus in the country continue to remind us that the virus remains among us. In fact, in relation to the deaths in other European countries, Greece continues to have the negative lead.
Specifically, from the 1st of April until the 25th of the month, Greece has 137.7 deaths per million, while the whole of Europe has an average of 44.2 deaths per million! In fact, the difference becomes apparent when the average is considered without our country, as it falls to 42.8 deaths per million. Also, in the seven-day average of deaths per million, Greece is second in the world!
To seal the tragic situation, on the two days of Easter EODY 66 losses, while yesterday we had 41 deaths. At the rate at which deaths are announced, today we have to surpass the 29,000 victims of the pandemic.
At the same time, while the number of intubators is steadily declining (albeit slowly), we remain second in Europe, with Poland being the only country to pass (27 vs. 42).
Finally, although the cases have decreased significantly, we remain in high positions. Specifically, Greece is seventh in Europe in the number of seven-day cases and eleventh in the world.
