Allianz Partners Portugal Sewing Atelier for unemployed hairstyles – Market
Supporting unemployed people, offering them the opportunity to learn a new trade, is one of the main objectives of the social sustainability program launched by Allianz Partners Portugal. This is the decline of an international initiative that, here, has the association Auxílio e Amizade as a partner.
Together, we will create the Atelier de Sewing, aimed at people who are unemployed and in a socioeconomic situation. With a duration of six months, this initiative also aims at months of active job search. Thus, in addition to providing new tools and skills, it provides tips and guidance in terms of professional careers.
Among the trainees is an 18-year-old girl who has not entered her art course and likes to sew. A Senegalese mother, a widow, with children between the ages of 18 months and 14 years, also allows for long-term unemployment, as well as another whose precarious job is not a woman and five to face every month for a long time financially and financial.
According to Maria Emília Barros, president of the Auxílio e Amizade association, the program “is intended to help families in situations of serious socioeconomic vulnerability, with a view to building their autonomy”.
Allianz Partners Portugal takes the form of volunteers who join the project, as CEO Miguel Mello do Rego explains. «Our support and collaboration at Atelier de Sewing is promoted by Associação Auxilio and represents for us another step forward in the mission of helping those who need it most. More than training, we are giving a group of people the opportunity to learn a craft that can provide a better future. Our company is promoted as an action that » the company is sustained, providing more adequate conditions for a fair and socially balanced society.
