Voorburgs Dagblad | Sem from The Hague and Kate to the final Kunstbende in Amsterdam
The Hague musician Sem Witt and the Hague fashion designer Kate Oram have won the preliminary round Zuid-Holland of the Kunstbende in the categories Music and Fashion. The 17-year-old creatives will continue to appear on June 26 in the final of this national youth competition in Amsterdam.
The South Holland preliminary round took place in the Maaspodium in Rotterdam. Dozens of young people aged 13 to 18 participated in the competition, which is held in the categories Music, Dance, DJ, Expo, Fashion, Film, Language and Theater.
The Kunstbende has been in existence since 1991. Some of the previous winners who are known are: Trijntje Oosterhuis, Claudia de Breij, Sanne Vogel, Egbert Jan Weeber, Martin Garrix and Duncan Laurence.
