L’Gourmet workshopnews deli with an arty decor opened its doors on rue de l’Epicerie, in the city center of Rouen (Seine-Maritime) Tuesday April 19, 2022. This small shop, designed by gallery owner Paul Delahaye and caterer Baptiste Briffaut, offers a variety of products and in good local parts.
Works of art for decor
“On a source of beautiful, quality products, with beautiful stories behind, which have a sustainable and ethical background”, assures Jeanne, who welcomes and advises customers. Thus the artisanal preserves of the Pearl of the Gods, from Vendée, are presented alongside spirits, tea, spreads, wine, cider, charcuterie, cheese, a whole bunch of spice blends stamped Atelier gourmet, or local beers from Union-B and Co-Kot.
Enough to stock up for a good meal, of course. All in a warm and original subdued atmosphere, embellished by works from the Outsiders gallery, which were to rotate regularly.
