Pescaria opens its first store abroad
After eleven venues in Italy, now Pescaria, the seafood sandwich shop born in Puglia, lands with its first store in Vienna.

After the opening of eleven stores in Italy (Polignano, Trani, two in Milan, Bologna, Turin, Rome, Naples, Verona, Trento, Padua), the brand has just announced the opening of four new stores in the next twelve months: one opened a few days ago in Padua, where Pescaria launched its second store in Veneto (the first is in Verona, inaugurated in October 2021) – where Pescaria has added spritz to the menu for the first time. And then, in fact, the landing in a foreign land, in Vienna, of which very little is still known, except that it is planned.
The idea of Pescaria in 2015 was Bartolo L’Abbate, a historic Apulian fish trader and today the company’s CEO, together with chef Lucio Mele and Domingo Iudice (co-founder and CMO of Pescaria, among the 100 Italian marketing directors of successor according to Forbes). In 2016 the first Pescaria office in Milan was inaugurated in via Bonnet, in 2018 the second store arrived in via Solari and in 2019 the one in Turin, in an exclusive location on two floors in Piazza Carignano, then Rome, Bologna, Naples , Verona, Trento, Padua and soon Vienna, for a successful chain that today employs over two hundred people.
