A 6th edition crowned with su
Since the contested first edition in 2014, theAa Saint Omer Golf Club has established itself as one of the top places for paragolf in France and in Europe. The sixth edition of Pas-de-Calais Paragolf Opencontested this weekend, only reinforced the club’s reputation in this area: bringing together 63 participants from seven European nationalities, it allowed everyone to meet in an excellent atmosphere, on an admirably prepared course, and by a perfectly printed weather forecast.
In raw strokeplay, at the end of the two rounds of competition, the victory went to the men for the Irishman Conor Stone (151, +5) and in Dutch ladies Daphne van Houten (157, +11). Both will benefit, in addition to the honors of their victory, from an invitation for the Hauts de France-Pas de Calais Golf Opena professional tournament bringing together players fromTour of the Alps and players from LET Access Seriesand which will take place from June 30 to July 2 at the same place.
In net strokeplay it is the Belgian Graham Freeman who won the victory (150, +4) while in stableford the Dutchman Remon Visser won in 85. Finally in the third series it is the French Pierre Barre who won it.
