The celebratory evening of the 25 years of activity of Parco del Sasso Simone and Simoncello was held at the Galli Theater
“I’ll take you to a special place”. A meeting to share current projects and future visions on the Interregional Park of Sasso Simone and Simoncello, the protected natural area of over 5,000 hectares located in the heart of Montefeltro. This was the goal of the appointment that took place on Wednesday 20 April at the Galli Theater in Rimini. Many ideas emerged during the evening that on the occasion of the 25 years of activity of the Park wanted to celebrate one of the most beautiful and evocative places in Romagna. Located between Emilia-Romagna and Marche, the park is dominated by two huge limestone stones. A landscape that offers mysterious forests, pastures and clayey badlands. A magical place surrounded by villages, historic centers and a luxuriant nature. A very popular event, with over 300 people in the audience, which saw the Galli Theater host the story of this important protected area for one evening between words, images and music. To insert the presentation of the projects in Jamattoil Sadegholvaad, mayor of Rimini and president of Visit Romagna, who underlined the importance of the Park also as a driving force for tourism throughout the Romagna area. The Councilor for Mobility, Transport and Tourism of the Emilia-Romagna Region, Andrea Corsini, remarked how the project has grown thanks to the involvement of the operators and the territories concerned, becoming a real tourism product that has reached its own market and represents a wealth for the whole regional territory. Chiara Astolfi, director of Visit Romagna, presented the tools produced by the tourist destination for the effective collaboration with public bodies and private operators in the development of tourism. Giorgio Calcagnini, director of the Carlo Bo ‘University of Urbino, the task of carrying out a reflection on the ecological transition of protected areas. Afterwards, Roberto Sartor, Linda Valenti and Irene Valenti presented the Microcosmi project by the Association “Chiocciola la casa del nomad” and the rich calendar of scheduled events. In turn, they invited Emanuele Francioni of Stamperia Carpegna, Matteo Zerbini and Marco Mancini, three young entrepreneurs who have chosen to operate in these territories, combining tradition and innovation, as evidence of the vitality and opportunities that the Park offers. The “Perspectives and visions for the future” were the themes at the center of the speech by Andrea Gnassi, former Mayor of Rimini. The videos (edited by Omar places) were presented for cycling routes and the most beautiful in the Park, as well as the brand new App created by Retina, which allows you to safely explore the park and paths. To close the evening the institutional greetings of Stefano Aguzzi Regional Councilor for Marche and the intervention of Lino Gobbi, President of the Interregional Park of Sasso Simone and Simoncello, (remotely connected) who wanted to highlight the history and value of the Park in a story role of great emotion, highlighting the priority of the Administrations falling within the Park.
