compulsory increase only for ANIS members
It may be that no one is required to read with anyone, but from the newspapers that an extra contractual increase has been signed for the industry, it is certainly to be interpreted as a clear will based on individualism and mono vision of the situation and economic conjecture. Yesterday the signature between ANIS and unions: attention! a contract has not been signed pursuant to law 59/2016, but only an agreement between the signatories, so much so that technically the signature can only bind those associated with that association. Yes, because the law in this sense is very clear and we adhere to this, even for other contracts. A specific, democratic and transparent methodology is envisaged for making contracts, where all those representing companies in the sector sit at the table, even if they represent a minority share. We do not affirm it out of presidentialism, but because it is so foreseen. All the rest are second-level private deals. This is why we argue that the UNAS associates, if of an industrial nature and who have to take on the industry contract, are not obliged to pay the increase now. And likewise also those who are not associated with anyone (about 25% of the sector) to whom I am not given a detailed invitation to consider supporting in this defense of the small and medium-sized enterprises of San Marino. If the inflation bubble is to last, it goes without saying that – over time – even a review of the salary scales becomes a consequent, but in full international speculative inflation bubble, with a bloody and tragic war taking place in the full European continent, we – worrying about companies and their sustainability – we also care about employees. We are aware of the historical phase we are experiencing, but for this very reason we want to be attentive and measured, because the only certainty is that companies can be relocated, the workforce cannot! What is the logic of all this? Among San Marino entrepreneurs, who is convinced that a huge increase is sustainable for businesses? Why not think – at the limit – of a future progression and not everything immediately, indeed with the arrears? In the largest industries of San Marino the workforce only partially affects the formation of prices, thanks to technology, machines and production chains. But in the great majority of San Marino companies, which up to the participation of the large workforce of small companies 10/20 employees, the company is almost total! Our world cannot take a slight 3% increase for the year 2022, also applied for the previous months. Without nasty surprises, in the logic of the formation of everything must be clear and distributed over time: this is our idea and – we believe – of the people who rely on UNAS to be represented. We are open to discussion, but there are clear and recent rules, there is a Guarantor Committee for Collective Bargaining, there is an overall vision that must be less individualistic and – in fact – more comprehensive.
