This Friday, April 22, 2022 will be very disrupted on the rails, near Toulouse. A strike at the SNCF will effectively disrupt the train schedule installed at the start and finish of the Pink City.
“Report your trips”
« liO Train SNCF-Occitanie traffic will be very unfavorable on the lines departing from and arriving at Toulouse-Matabiau”: the SNCF sets the scene for this day of April 22.
And launches a more than explicit appeal to its travellers, that of “postpone their trips“, and this, “due to a local social movement”.
“The company is mobilized to support, inform and be as close as possible to passengers. All the information will be available from 7 p.m. this Thursday on the SNCF information channels.”
The date was already checked
This strike was announced by the railway workers, who had already met on the forecourt of the stationWednesday April 13, 2022, when they denounced “the deletion of 50% sales counters in the station”.
The CGT union member, Victor Imbault, who works across Toulouse-Matabiau, then regretted that the SNCF “is using the digitalization argument and the explosion of internet sales to eliminate counters”. He had mentioned the date of April 22.
“For this April 22, we have a new strike notice with the infra-traffic, that is to say the colleagues in the signal boxes, who take care of the circulation of the trains. We are currently fighting also for employment. On the 22nd, we want to unite and bring together all of our demands.”
