Prague 4 helps Ukraine. Representative Ondřej Kubín hands over material assistance
Prague 4 has two places where it provides accommodation for refugees. The building of the former kindergarten of Horáčkova Kindergarten, which currently accommodates 36 people, of which 18 are women and 18 are children. It is also the Novodvorská hostel, where there are currently 39 people, of which 6 are children and the rest are women. Furthermore, Prague 4 takes care of another 15 refugees in the Spořilov hostel, which is run by a private operator and Prague 4 subsidizes the operation.

Prague 4 has also already provided 13 flats for Ukrainian refugees, which now accommodate 56 people. These include a family from Kharkov with a handicapped child. The Prague 4 district also provides meals to refugees, with the help of a company that also supplies the party to the Institute of Social Services in Prague 4.
In total, Prague 4 has somehow helped 175 refugees, while 62 have completely left the background of the town hall, respectively. they either found their place somewhere or with acquaintances, even outside Prague, or they have already returned to Ukraine. All the refugees we spoke to want to return home if possible. In general, we meet with great humility.

Among them is the deputy and leader of the candidate ODS and TOP 09 for the upcoming municipal elections in Prague 4, Ondřej Kubín, who repeatedly helps. As part of the assistance, Ondřej Kubín will deliver clothes for children and adults, hygiene products, medicines and toys around Prague 4. Six weeks ago, to a hostel in Novodvorská Street. He last took two cars of this aid to the former kindergarten in Horáčková Street. The liaison officer here is Ms Anya from Ukraine in the Donbas region. She was very moved, her son and husband stayed in Ukraine. He likened the Russian act of aggression to Nazism.
We oppose this war, we will continue to help. However, we also do not forget to help Czech citizens.
