Of the SV Seekirchen hat in the 6th round the Salzburg regional league won the duel “first versus last” as expected. The Lapkalo protégés sat down against the SV Wals-Grunau, who had to finish the game with nine men, got through 3-1. Because of Kuchl’s 2-0 defeat in Grödig, the SVS was able to extend its lead in the intermediate classification to four points – the new second place is now FC Pinzgau. Meanwhile, the Aigner men, who were defeated in the table, are still waiting for their first full success in the spring.

Cold shower for favorites
The favorites from Seekirchner didn’t want to leave anything to chance in the August sports center and approached the matter with a great deal of commitment. “Although the game wasn’t at a high level, we found our way into the game quite well,” said SVS manager Mario Lapkalo. For him and his crew, however, there was an absolute moment of shock in the second minute when a harmless Pössl projectile hit the home box from almost 30 meters. Keeper Tezzele, Seekirchen’s otherwise secure support, looked anything but happy. After an Eliasch-Köpfler jumped the crossbar and Biribauer failed due to guest one Strobl, Lapkalo was allowed to hold his hands up in celebration a few sequences before the break whistle: Birbibauer broke through the Grünau defensive, took over, Aigner pushed in – 1 :1 (44th).
SVS jokers made the preliminary decision, final double exclusion at Wals-Grünau
Because Aigner grabbed a second time at the beginning of the second half (54th), the hosts, who were now in the lead, retreated a little further. In the 80th minute, the duel, which was extremely unequal in terms of the table, was finally decided: Haberl with the template for Ogunlade, who did the rest – 3:1. “A combination of two jokers,” Lapkalo showed a golden touch on Easter Monday. Bitter for the bottom of the table from Grünau: Bernhofer gave up after 23 minutes due to injury, where Ressel (yellow-red, 84th) and Brennsteiner (red, 87th) were sent off in the final phase.
