Prague – The Sparta footballers defeated Slovácko 3: 1 in the penultimate round of the first part of the first league. The people of Prague won the highest competition for the fifth time in a row and from the third place they continue to lose four points to the leading defender of the title Slavia. On the other hand, the team from Uherské Hradiště lost after seven rounds.
Dávid Hancko opened the duel between two neighboring teams in the table, which will compete again in the superstructure group and on May 4 in the final of the home cup. At the end of the half, Daniel Holzer equalized, but Bořek Dočkal immediately returned with the Letna leadership. Jubilant Adam Hložek added the insurance in the second half. Sparta lost only one of 20 domestic league matches with Slovácko (of which 18 victories) and partially repaid the autumn debacle 0: 4, which offset its highest defeat in a separate league.
