Genoa, still problems with the new bins, garbage on the ground in Marassi
Genoa – The introduction of the new bins in ValBisagno still has problems and this time in via Bobbio, in the Marassi district where the “too big” bags or the problems with the openings are causing the bags to be abandoned on the street.
A few days after the announcement of the protest of artisans and entrepreneurs, in difficulty in disposing of large quantities of “rummenta” comes the protests, less organized and seasoned with a bit of rudeness, of those who abandon waste to entrepreneurs standing in the bin after having encountered problems throwing them away correctly.
The “complaints”, also in this case, concern the dimensions of the bin door.
Calibrated to contain small bags, they cannot receive “over size” ideas or simply a little too full. A “condominium” size bag does not go through at all and those who have to dispose of it unfortunately find it easier to abandon it rather than divide the garbage into several bags.
If companies and artisans can make up the excuse of costs and “wasted time”, the same cannot be done by citizens who, after an understandable period of “calibration”, which one should know the type to use and how to fill it.
The final effect, however, is deleterious. The bags abandoned at the foot of the bins are not beautiful to look at, they are an irresistible invitation for animals of various kinds (mice, seagulls and wild boars) and emit decidedly unpleasant odors.
