IThere are only a handful of seconds left before the first period closes and Milan Jovanovic finds himself facing Timmy Simons. A few leg passes and a hook later, the Serb shifts Sherjill MacDonald which allows Olivier Deschacht’s team to take the lead over that of Davy De Fauw. The tone of the jubilee of the two former Zulte is given, between a plethora of goals, for a final score of 4-3 in favor of “Team Oli”, and memories of the good old days. “It was a real pleasure to be there, both for the former team-mates and the opponents. There were really nice people on the lawn. In the midst of these stars, Milan Jovanovic shone brightly, as if the weight of the years had no influence. “It’s nice but I’m not quite the same as before. It must be said that nine years have passed, during the content I had time to think. Looking back, I’m disappointed that I didn’t play longer.
