Easter heat: temperatures in Portugal close to 30 degrees
Easter predicts more heat. The rain will continue on Wednesday and temperatures will start to rise until the weekend, until the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), and may even reach 28ºC in the Tagus and Alentejo valleys.
According to the IP’s conditioned weather, the state in the next few days by the Evelyn depression, centered in the northwest of the Continent and moving eastward, as well as by an anticyclone southwest of the Azores, with influence on the state from the middle of the week.
Thus, from Tuesday until late afternoon, showers are expected throughout the mainland, which can sometimes be strong and accompanied by thunderstorms. On Wednesday the showers will be light on the coast and center until mid-afternoon, with the wind sometimes blowing strong in the highlands.
Then, between 28ºC and 28ºC in the Tagus valley and Alentejo and on the coast, between 20ºC and 25ºC. The IPMA also adds that on the holiday and Easter weekend it should remain stable, with generally clear skies and temperatures without significant changes.
