Good relationship
In a major interview with Danish BT Countess Alexandra opens up about everything from divorce to new boyfriend. She also talks about how the relationship with her son has developed over the years.
Facing the newspaper, she says that in many ways she is closer to her son as they are adults, as they can talk about the same things and share life experiences with each other. She still makes no secret of the fact that the princes seek advice from their mother now and then, even though they are adults.
– They still come to me with questions and advice and guidance. We see each other quite often, where we just have fun together, she says.
The countess says that she, among other things, usually plays paddle tennis with her eldest son Prince Nikolai, and that they are seen almost as much now as when the sons lived at home.
She herself has moved from Charlottenlund and into the big city of Copenhagen, where she lives close to her son.
