The third bad season. Prague without Russians and Chinese, because of the war, people from the West are also afraid of the Czech Republic
In 2019, almost 400,000 Russian tourists came to Prague. Russia was thus among the top 10 source foreign countries.
Don a steep hill in Hustopeče, South Moravia, crowds of tourists rolled on the last Saturday in March. Dozens of almond-strewn pink flowers lured them to its top. One of the largest spring events in the region, the Almond Festival, has returned to the city after two years. During them, the action was canceled due to coronavirus. According to the organizers, the festivities were successful because they attracted over ten thousand people. However, these were mainly excursions from the Czech Republic.
In contrast, the situation in inbound tourism is in stark contrast. He remains paralyzed even after two years of pandemics, and tourism entrepreneurs do not hide their fears about the fate of the coming season. As a reminder: while in 2019 the Czechia was visited by almost 11 million foreigners, last year it was only about 2.5 million.
