Russian cucumbers in Polish uniforms
Vegetables illegally imported from Russia flood the shelves of Polish supermarkets, destroying the profitability of Polish production. Mafia practice is flourishing, while the Polish services are asleep – farmers are alarming.
- Polish markets and wholesale markets are flooded by a wave of illegally imported vegetables from Russia – farmers are alarming
- Russian cucumbers find their way to our market in other countries and are sold by Polish parties – Polish growers
- Farmers are demanding to stop the change in the turnover of Russian vegetables through the actions of the Polish services and the service
Every day, dozens of trucks transport tons of Russian cucumbers to Poland. The scale of this law in the light of import is so large that there is currently no chance of buying the right on the English market, as in a shop on the market, as well as on the housing market, and even at the marketplace – farmers say, they are now on the vegetable market . Domestic production cannot be affordable with this massive Russian import.
A roundabout …
-The rules of circumventing the law are simple. Russian cucumbers enter Poland in a roundabout way and already with prepared documents from other countries. The earlier ones are also Latvia, but then the services of the service do not like the next and a bit later. So now Russian cucumbers go to Poland mainly from the south, with papers from Macedonia – tells us a farmer – a vegetable producer from Mazovia. -In Poland, trucks go to large and smaller companies, they are repackaged and their logos are lent to them by large Polish gardening companies. Then, with the prepared documentation, they go to the supermarkets.
According to our informants, ten percent is flourishing for a huge group and the groups profit huge profits. And no wonder, to earn PLN 80-100 thousand on a common cause, because this is the price breakthrough on a Russian cucumber. For this reason, our informants prefer not to reveal their names.
-Commercial networks are making “shows and withdrawing Russian goods from the shelves”, thanks to which they support the fighting Ukraine. So what, if they sell Russian vegetables, stuffing their pockets both to themselves and to the Russians – laments the owners of vegetable farms in the province Łódź.
In broad daylight
Farmers for the transition to conversion, as to repair and maintenance services, possible to serve customers who charge fees for Russian products, and the food quality standard does not recognize this illegal law.
-Each farmer who grows vegetables is able to name a company that cheats in ten in broad daylight. Even on the wholesale market in Bronisze there are companies that deal with this and market Russian vegetables – says a gardener from Mazovia. – Is it so difficult to check? After all, Polish and Ukrainian employees of the stores pack in Polish ones, and Polish people deliver them to the store. They know what’s going on.
-Why is no one surprised that a large horticulture company from Silesia, which grows cucumbers “as if they were a cure”, supplies supermarkets in the country with these vegetables? – he asks for the benefit of Sieradz. – Why is no one interested that the company, which would have to make it difficult to service Polish growers, come only to promotional tracks? What is in these trucks and what happens with the goods next? These cold stores were built with EU subsidies for the development of Polish agriculture, complains a farmer from Łódź.
Sleeping research
Farmers wonder why no one is interested in breaking this mafia business.
-After all, tiring with cucumbers during winter inspections! If it were to be done, there would be some “shortcomings” in the documentation. You can check the technical condition of trucks and driver rental. all you have to do is want it!
-Let someone correct you if you are in the sewers, but I have not heard of them taking samples, taking samples from the pharmacy seller and testing me for chemistry – Get another plant from the province. Świętokrzyskie in Italy.
Farmers and farmers that even the center of agriculture and farmers – or these governments would have created – the agrouni made no choice in this matter.
How to live and live?
The phenomenon that is contrary to the import of vegetables from Russia has not only a moral, but above all an economic, economic dimension.
– I am glad that I did not have cucumbers under glass in fashion, because I would go with bags – appointed our addressee from Mazow. I wouldn’t even earn a fire. In the year, I paid for coal dust to heat greenhouses, after this year you have to spend 1200 or even 1400 PLN / ton. The cost of fertilizers was horrendous, and we even went to the box. How do we still have to do with the growth from Russia with such increases in production? The farmer asks. -My cucumbers are steamed regularly, I pay for the certificate. What certification do Russian cucumbers have and how does one match our quality standards?
Our recipients answer that the production of vegetables in Poland is becoming completely unprofitable. They had to come to terms with the fact that the country was flooded with a wave of imported vegetables from southern Europe and other countries of the EU group, where production costs are delayed due to the climate.
-The government is doing nothing to look after the interests of native farmers, because, as he says, we have a free market. So we have tomatoes at last year’s price, because from Morocco, Spain, etc. “Kind of early” potatoes come from all over the world. However, there are no arguments in favor of importing vegetables from Russia today, so why is the government allowing it? – Polish growers ask.
