For the Bulgarians this is the first official competition as a team
The ensemble of Bulgaria triumphed in five hoops at the finals of the individual equipment of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Sofia. Vaya Draganova, Elena Georgieva, Petya Borisova, Jenina Trashlieva, Biliana Vezirska and Sofia Ivanova received 28,600 points and won gold.
The alumni of Vessela Dimitrova have a fantastic composition and despite the mistake (device and gymnast off the field), they managed to get the highest grade due to the extreme difficulty.
For the Bulgarians this is the first official competition as a team and in the evening they have two titles after the all-around yesterday. Later today, the ensembles will play with three bands and two balls.
In second place is Japan with 25,350 points, bronze medals from France with 24,100 points.
Boryana Kalein has better gold medals on hoop and ball. With that, the hosts already have six awards (five gold and one bronze) before the last three finals later today.
Kalein, who also became a champion in all-around yesterday, played a strong composition with a hoop and received a score of 32,100 points.
