MLADÁ BOLESLAV – Slovak hockey representative Miloš Kelemen leaves the Czech extra-league club BK Mladá Boleslav and heads to the NHL. According to the iDnes.cz portal, he has agreed on a contract with Arizona Coyotes from next season. The Overseas Club has not yet confirmed the information.
The 22-year-old should fight for a place in the coyotes’ preparatory camp for the first time. According to iDnes.cz, he signed a two-year contract with Arizona during the playoffs of the Czech extra league.
Kelemen came to Mladá Boleslav last year from Zvolen, with which he had previously won the championship title. In the basic part, he played 44 matches for BK, in which he scored five goals and added 13 assists. His moments came in the playoffs, where he was one of the main players in the team and in 12 duels he collected 12 points (9 + 3). He is currently the most productive player and the best scorer of the knockout. However, it will not continue, because Mladá Boleslav lost in the semifinals with Třinec 0: 4 in matches and the season is over for its players.

Kelemen was also successful in the national time, winning the bronze medal with the Slovak national team at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. He also started at last year’s World Championships in Riga and in the qualification of the Olympic Games in Bratislava.
The Slovak national team is not the first player to whom the engagement in Mladá Boleslav opened the way overseas. Goalkeeper David Rittich reached an agreement with Calgary in 2016, he currently works in Nashville, Radim Zohorn again won a contract in Pittsburgh.
