Ramsay Santé PÔLE TOULOUSE – The strengths of a growing group
Present in the Toulouse metropolis with 4 clinics, the Ramsay Santé group delivers a global care offer while developing cutting-edge expertise in different specialties.
With more than 100 doctors having joined the ranks of establishments in Toulouse over the past five years, the group, the leader in private hospitalization in France, plans to step up its efforts in this direction. The goal: to continue to improve the reception and care of patients.
In Toulouse, the four clinics apply the Group’s recognized know-how: the Clinique de l’Union and the Marquisat (Saint-Jean); the Clinique des Cèdres (Cornebarrieu); Clinique La Croix du Sud (Quint-Fonsegrives). Faced with new technological and societal challenges, in particular the aging of the population, or the acceleration of technological innovations, the group has bet on modernity.
A few key figures give the measure of the scope of the Pole: the establishments of the Toulouse Pole account for more than 150,000 hospitalizations each year (27% of MCO hospitalizations in the Haute-Garonne department), have more than 1,700 beds and places, 84 operating theaters within will have 550 doctors and more than 3,000 employees working on a daily basis.
Institutions with almost all the authorizations and infrastructures to meet the health needs of the population in their territory. “This represents a wide variety of possible missions for our employees, professional development via internal mobility at each establishment but also within the Division and therefore interesting opportunities for career progression”, explains Fabrice Derbias, General Manager of the Division. of Toulouse, which also focuses on professional training thanks to substantial budgets granted for the years to come.
4th, 15th and 22nd best clinics in France in the latest rankings of Le Point Magazine, the establishments of the Toulouse cluster are continuing their development and their investment policy. Nearly €28 million of expenditure over the past 3 years has therefore been devoted to modernizing facilities and purchasing the latest generation equipment.
“We also intend to step up our prevention projects. Acting upstream and defining a new prevention policy is part of the strategic orientations that we will be rolling out to the population with the opening of primary care centres,” continues Fabrice Derbias.
EXPERT ADVICE
“Arouse new vocations”
– What lessons have you learned, within the Toulouse division of Ramsay Santé, from the health crisis, in terms of organization and others?
Fabrice Derbias and Bénédicte Blondel (Managing Director and HRD of the Pôle de Toulouse): Our establishments have been key players in the management of this crisis. On the front line with the University Hospital, they have invested in delivering optimal care to the nearly 2,000 COVID patients (some transferred from other regions) welcomed and cared for while continuing to provide the necessary care to the population of their territory. .
– Is health still a popular sector, which holds, especially the younger generations?
Health is a sector that is at the heart of the concerns of our fellow citizens and has been highlighted even more since the start of this pandemic. The creation of new schools (one of which is temporarily housed on the Clinique de l’Union site) and the increase in quotas could gradually slow down the medical and nursing teams in the care establishments.
– How do you explain this shortage of personnel in certain positions?
The health crisis has accentuated the departure of nursing staff to new sectors of activity. At the same time, health professions are sometimes unknown to younger generations (work pace, daily difficulties, etc.). We therefore have a role to play with high school students to encourage new vocations and promote all of our professions.
– Which profiles are you specifically looking for?
We are looking for profiles of nursing staff: young graduate nurses to ensure our role of training new generations as well as more experienced nurses. We would also like to welcome caregivers as well as apprentices and interns in these 2 professions.
– What are the advantages of joining Ramsay Santé?
Join one of our 4 establishments in Toulouse is the guarantee to flourish and to choose the specialty in which one wishes. Management and teams are invested in integrating new employees as well as possible. It is also the guarantee of being trained and of being able to be professionally evaluated, both functionally and geographically according to the personal changes that punctuate a professional life.
“An HR policy at the service of our staff: anchoring people at the heart of the system”
The Toulouse division of Ramsay Santé has set itself the goal of attracting new talent: approximately 70 positions are currently open, in a context where healthcare is undergoing major changes.
To attract these new talents who will shape the health of tomorrow, the 4 clinics are setting up small dishes in the big ones, in particular by involving all of their employees in this issue of attractiveness thanks to programs such as co-option or ” Ambassadors”, but also by offering a “Welcome Bonus” to new hires, thus making remuneration more attractive.
“To adapt to the expectations of new generations, we have also bet on freedom, by promoting more latitude in schedules, working hours and in the choice of specialties (operating room, critical care, medical specialty, surgery, obstetrics, etc.,” Bénédicte Blondel, HRD at Pôle Toulouse.
A proactive Quality of Life at Work (QVT) policy has also been put in place. It consists of improving the working conditions of staff (innovative equipment, 12-hour schedule, etc.), preventing professional risks and promoting health at work, or even promoting commitment and motivation by giving perspective on future projects. Developing team cohesion, setting up a PSR (Psycho-Social Risks) prevention approach, and supporting the transformation of organizations are some of the other challenges that the group is committed to meeting.
To achieve these objectives, the Toulouse division of Ramsay Santé can count on an ambitious skills development policy with an increased training budget compared to legal obligations, thus making it possible to maintain a dynamic training policy, to make professional careers more individualised, to set up integration tutors, to finance nursing training for staff, to be able to accommodate work-study caregivers, or even to launch internship and apprenticeship campaigns.
“As part of our QVT and CSR policy, we have signed a partnership with a carpooling company in order to commit ourselves to a policy of reducing greenhouse gas emissions on a long-term basis, and in order to contribute to the power of purchase of our staff »
