Jean Asselborn attended the meeting of German-speaking foreign ministers on April 8, 2022 in Vaduz
At the invitation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Liechtenstein, Dominique Hasler, Foreign and Europe Minister Jean Asselborn will take part in the annual meeting of German-speaking foreign ministers, which will take place on Friday, April 8, 2022 in Vaduz. Also taking part in the meeting will be the foreign ministers of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, Austria, Alexander Schallenberg and Switzerland, Ignazio Cassis.
The foreign ministers will exchange views in particular on the war in Ukraine, the reaction of the international community and international solidarity in favor of Ukraine. Liechtenstein’s initiative “Finance against slavery and human trafficking” and relations between the European Union and Switzerland are also addressed.
The working meeting will be followed by a press conference attended by the five ministers.
The ministers will then be invited to pay courtesy visits to HSH Hereditary Prince Alois von und zu Liechtenstein at Vaduz Castle and to Daniel Risch, Prime Minister of the Principality of Liechtenstein.
