Experienced trainers

CAP FORMATION, an approved private training center will welcome its first 14 apprentices next September. The center will be run by Benjamin Vié and Aurélie Roussel, experienced and well-known trainers in the profession.
Good news for a sector that sometimes struggles to recruit in the face of rising pool orders. Good news for the profession, which is setting milestones all over France to establish the professionalization of the profession. Finally, good news for apprentices who want to go into this profession and are sometimes hampered by the geographical distance of training centers spread over the territory.

CAP FORMATION is supported by the Federation of Swimming Pool and Spa Professionals and depends on the IFIR of Lyon. The establishment has already forged partnerships with major players in the industry for future training materials. These include Fluidra, Griffon, Piscimar, CCEI, Klereo.

In September, 14 apprentices from the BP will begin their course, in premises of 350 m², including 250 m² of modular technical platform according to needs, dedicated to courses and practical workshops related to the profession of swimming pool technician. Under the direction of Benjamin Vié, the training will become by an expert team, composed exclusively of experienced professionals, in activity.

Training topics for pool professionals

The training structure would also set up many training stages from September for professionals practicing the profession and wishing to deepen or update their knowledge in practice:

• Water treatment for private pools / public pools
• Hydraulic
• Installation of local technique
• Electrical Accreditation (BR)
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Initiation / Advanced training in the installation of reinforced swimming pool membranes and swimming pool liners.

An exclusive training of Pool technician will also be offered.

Another training will open in 2023 to obtain the Swimming Pool Equipment and Maintenance Technician Pro Titlein continuing education.
