The head of the Penza Ministry of Culture summed up the results of his official trip to the Republic of Belarus
The cultural life of the Penza region this year is complemented by a number of events compatible with Belarus. Today the minister of culture of the region Sergei Bychkov summed up the results of his official visit to this state.
During a visit to the Brest Fortress and laying flowers at the monument to Andrei Kizhevatov, an agreement was reached on the final result of exhibitions on the history of the Great Patriotic War in Penza.
“I was surprised to find that the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War stores data on five of our lands, exits from the Penza region, and their memory is very sensitive. There is a mobile museum in Minsk, which is a museum exposition in which the museum exposition is located, and we temporarily agreed that we are developing when delivering this exhibition project to Penza and rolling it through the most remote corners of the Penza region. The Belarusians have a wonderful project called “Partisans of Belarus”. There are information about 575 persons who take place in the Penza region. Therefore, I think that this project will be primarily interesting and it is possible that someone will be able to find their natural ones, among their ancestors who fought on the territory of Belarus, ”said Sergey Bychkov, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Penza Region.
And today Sergei Bychkov donated to the Literary Museum of Penza a book by Nikolai Leskov, published at the beginning of the 20th century. A rare edition, which he bought from Belarusian second-hand booksellers during the visit of the Penza delegation to a friendly country. Russian writer Nikolai Leskov French time lived and worked in Penza.
