Greece will contribute to the humanitarian corridor
Greece will contribute to the distribution of humanitarian aid and the creation of evacuation corridors through Odessa, through the consulate in Odessa, which is reopening today. This was underlined by the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, speaking in Odessa, where the head of the mission, which transports humanitarian aid, arrived this morning.
In his statements, Mr. Dendias stated, among other things: “Greece is present in Odessa, I represent the Mitsotakis government but I also believe in the entire Greek society. We are here to deliver humanitarian aid to the entire population. As of today, the Greek consulate is open again and will assist in the transfer of humanitarian aid, in its distribution and in the creation of evacuation corridors from all over Ukraine through Odessa. I want to congratulate the Greek consul and the staff of the consulate and to emphasize that the reopening of the Greek consulate will underline our historical presence in this city “.
