Eintracht Frankfurt: Big fan return! Trouble with pyro and tickets – Bundesliga
Finally (almost) full hut again! After more than two years, Eintracht was allowed to let all fans in again for the first time. No more mask requirement, test or vaccination requirement also gone.
50,500 fans were in the stadium against Fürth (0:0). It was mostly quiet. But there was some chaos at the entrance because the QR codes on the digital tickets caused trouble.
The ultras in the northwest curve have also reported back. They celebrated their comeback with posters (“Those declared dead live longer”) and an unnecessary Bengalo and firecracker show.
There was also a statement around the stadium in which they settled accounts with the football business (“As stadium spectators, we don’t give a shit”). Even the self-celebrating Ultras couldn’t roar Eintracht to victory afterwards…
The game was also a logistical challenge, around 860 catering employees and up to 800 folders had to work from the start.
Board spokesman Axel Hellmann (50) was satisfied with the dress rehearsal for the Barca game: “We have not received any major complaints or lawsuits. From now on there is only one direction and that is: beat Barca! With a full hut, full band and all spectators.”
