The guests were also greeted by the director of the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky Natalya Abakumova.
– Today we had an unusual holiday, which symbolically coincided with the Day of the Cultural Worker. Think about it, you know that one of the main things for us is outside the scientific and technical museum to take into account artistic and cultural-historical experience. It seems to me that the bold and creative ideas reflected in the projects will definitely help us in this,” she said.

After the implementation of youth projects, the territory of the Museum of Cosmonautics acquires new meanings
As you know, within the framework of the festival, a competition was announced for wide events for the improvement of the slope of the Yachensky reservoir near the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky, as well as the improvement of the courtyard area of the Kaluga Museum of A.L. Chizhevsky. The competitions were organized by the Union of Architects of Russia, the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky and the City Council of the city of Kaluga.
Within the framework of the festival, the results were summed up and the results of the competition program were announced, in which 54 works took part this year. So, it was decided not to award the second and part of the participants of the competition, noting the diplomas they liked for their work. The jury pays special attention to the participants’ attention to the historical context of the competition, as well as a creative approach to solving competition problems.
The names of the winners from the stage were announced by the leaders of the Pole-Design project group Vladimir Kuzmin and First Vice-President of the Union of Architects of Russia Vladimir Bakeev.
Thus, the results of the work of the jury of the competition for interesting events in the improvement of the slope of the Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named after Tsiolkovsky, the first place and a cash prize in the amount of 100 thousand rubles “For the purity and integrity of the conceptual solution” were awarded Anastasia Mina from Moscow. The project is called “The Way to the Stars”. Anastasia developed a scenario for using the Yachensky reservoir, where the museum is located. She successfully played with the avant-garde outlines of the museum complex, built in a building when the style of Soviet modernism dominated the architecture. As a development of the scenario, “Bridge to the Stars” was invented – a bridge structure beautifully overhanging the slope, “Pier for a single observer”, “Labyrinth for teenagers”. In addition, observation mini-platforms that can be wintered were scattered around the world.

You can also climb the Bridge from ground level along zigzag ladders. The space calls for the use of granules of age-related infections and textural lesions of interest.
Project Nadezhda Plotnikova and Ruzal Valeev more fundamental, it protected the footpath network. The territory is “equipped” with art objects in the form of capsules. The central “core-accumulator” is dedicated to Konstantin Tsiolkovsky. The “planetary stations” scattered along the slope, according to the authors of the project, should become a place of rest and cohabitation for research facilities in space.

– It’s amazing that only three days have passed, but it seems like an episode. I am glad that architects from various cities of our country took part in business circles and got acquainted with the city. Here, many of you received a creative impetus for growth and imbued with the spirit of Russian space art, which has become one of the well-known features of Russian architecture.
Mega-ionizer as an architectural representation of Chizhevsky’s idea
In the competition for a wide improvement and development of coverage of the territory of the house-museum of A.L. The Chizhevsky jury gave an award and a cash prize in the amount of 70 thousand rubles, “For a large-scale, concise urban planning solution and integration into a historical context” Elizabeth Efremova from Novosibirsk, project “Art object “Mega-ionizer” in the park near the House-Museum of A.L. Chizhevsky.

The project is an allusion to the famous Chizhevsky Chandelier, which is an air ionizer and has a healing effect.
Diploma “For the active use of tools for landscape design of the territory and a successful lighting solution” the jury gave the project “Flash of the Sun”, the team of authors: Alisa Mikhailova, Yulia Gevlich, Kristina Babyuk, Tikhon Vasilevsky, Danila Vinogradov, Sofia Nikolaeva, (Saint Petersburg). The project is very “relaxed”, in the best sense of the word. Scenarios for the development of events are spontaneous and immediate. This is the beauty. Someone looks through a telescope, and someone just plays among the grass. Young architects set themselves the feeling of creating an atmosphere with their own “microclimate”. The territory, according to their idea, should become an object of concentration for various groups of the population.
