DIJON: The job quotation for city and metropolitan officials does not please the CGT
Having called for the mobilization of agents this Thursday, March 31, the trade union organization gathered around thirty people in front of the town hall before marching to the prefecture, to also denounce the law on the transformation of the public service.
Place de la Liberation this Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the start of the afternoon, more precisely in front of the town hall, a rally was held at the call of the CGT, echoing a national call.
Sandrine El Mekki, for the CGT of the staff of the City of Dijon / CCAS and the Metropolis, denounced “a quotation of positions made without real consultation and in the greatest opacity”.
The RIFSEEP, a new compensation scheme “taking into account the functions, constraints, expertise and professional commitment”, is not suitable for the CGT which speaks in particular of calculations of points “shameful, a scandal”.
More broadly, the law of transformation of the public service of August 6, 2019 was castigated, a law which according to the trade union organization “bypasses the statutes guaranteeing the neutrality of the service rendered and the equality of the rights of the agents but also of the users. It will also reduce the ability of trade unions to collectively defend the rights of public officials in terms of career, health and safety at work, by weakening the CAPs and the disappearance of the CHSCTs”. The CGT calls for the repeal of this law.
“It is the only union that has not signed the global protocol”, pointed out Sandrine El Mekki, deploring the exclusion of the CGT from the assessment meetings of this protocol “while online does not stipulate this exclusion in case of non-signature”.
“Let’s not give up! »
The CGT – the second trade union organization among the 3,000 agents in the City / CCAS and the Metropolis – is still invited to the job listing commission on April 15. “We are waiting to see. Several agents have in any case written individual letters to the City to say that they do not agree with these quotations. Let’s not give up!”, Launched the union representative in front of around thirty agents and supporters.
The route in the streets Lamonnoye, Auguste Comte and d’Assas allowed Sandrine El Mekki to insist on several demands: “thawing of the index point; no increase in working time or even reduction; increase in the service workforce.
Rue de la préfecture, in front of it, these proposals were reiterated, supported by Cyril Vierjan, CGT departmental union coordinator for the Côte-d’Or territories, who spoke out against privatization and “the breakage of the public service”. while being indignant at “the deterioration of working conditions in the public service”, slipping that the law decried by the trade union organization has already been applied “by many local authorities in the department, including the City and the Metropolis of Dijon of the new macronist Rebsamen.
“Dijon: community that privatizes at all costs the public services of the city and the metropolis”, we also heard.
