The capital has launched a new transport website, Prague Goes – Novinykraje.cz
PRAGUE – Those interested in traffic information in the main metropolis have a new website at their disposal. The Prague Travel website offers comprehensive information on both public transport, car transport, walking and cycling. There are also interesting behind-the-scenes views, including interviews with people who work for Prague or long-term visions of where the metropolitan transport infrastructure is headed.
“We will offer a quality information service, which will also be an interesting read. Transport in the capital is undergoing significant development. The city invests large sums in transport infrastructure. Praguers will have one place to go for interesting and readable information about what is happening and going on in transport, “said Adam Scheinherr, Deputy Minister for Transport.

Thanks to the website, readers will learn about all significant and interesting events in Prague transport. For example, the beginning or completion of major transport projects. There are currently an extraordinary number of them, such as the reconstruction of the Barrandov Bridge, the construction of the D metro, the extension of tram lines, the construction of new tram lines, bridges or the renewal of trolleybus traffic. There will also be a clear graphical representation of construction developments over time.
People who do not usually appear in the media, but who develop and move into the 21st century thanks to their work with Prague, will also introduce themselves on the website. These include, for example, geologists from the construction of metro D using the most modern excavation technologies in the demanding geological environment of Prague 4, people providing timetables, bus drivers, employees of the investment department, important constructions and others are being built under supervision.
There will also be architecture or transport technologies that are hidden from the view of passengers. In addition, the website will present various historical moments and anniversaries, but I will also focus on visions and plans for the future.
