Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – Deutsche Bank is supporting the Frankfurt Städel Museum for another five years. At the same time, the museum will receive three other works of art from the bank’s collection as regular loans, as both partners reported on Wednesday.

The painting by Wols is exhibited in the Contemporary Art Collection, the drawings are kept in the Graphic Collection.
The partnership has existed since the late 1960s. In 2009, the bank donated more than 600 works of art from its collection to the Städel, including works by Georg Baselitz, Neo Rauch, Gerhard Richter and Rosemarie Trockel. As a cooperation partner, the bank also supports the museum’s exhibitions and digital mediation projects.
