PRAGUE – Prague sports organizations have launched a training project for children from Ukraine. Thanks to their generous help, they can continue their favorite sport or try a new one.
Ukrainian parents and children can look at the Prague Sports website, where on the Sports Training platform for children from Ukraine they offer sports activities and describe how children can get involved. Everything is listed in the region so that foreigners can find their way around the web better. On the site, they will learn about the division into age categories or training dates.

“Above all, we are trying to make the children adapt here and forget about the extreme situation that currently prevails in their country and negatively affects their mental state,” said sports councilor Vít Šimral.
So far, basketball, football, floorball, handball and martial arts and dance divisions have joined the Prague project. Most clubs offer training and equipment rental for free, children can only bring sports clothes and shoes.
Other clubs that want to involve Ukrainian children in their activities can still sign up, making the choice of sport more comprehensive.
