Two months after the incident which saw the mayor of the 8th arrondissement, Olivier Berzane, receive a balloon in the face, two men were arrested, they are suspected of being the Daltons at the origin of the action.
The crackdowns in the ranks of the Daltons, this group of rappers from the 8th arrondissement of Lyon known for their urban rodeos in the city center, have been endless for a few days. After the arrest of four men last week, suspected of belonging to the collective and who would be involved in paintball shootings in the Rhône prefecture, it was the turn of two other people to be arrested on Monday, reports Progress.

The two Daltons presumed arrested by the police are this time suspected of being behind the throwing of a water bomb which hit the mayor of the 8th arrondissement, Olivier Berzane, on February 4. The elected ecologist, who was traveling with the mayor of Lyon Grégory Doucet, had been hit in the face by the balloon. The act was later claimed on social networks by the Daltons, to which the mayor of the 8th district responded by filing a complaint.
According to our colleagues from the regional daily, one of the two men was arrested at his home, in the 8th arrondissement and the other in the Pyrénées-Orientales. In their thirties, they are in police custody on Monday March 28.
