Theft of hundreds of thousands of crowns in Prague. The man punctured the tire and tore off her backpack
The incident took place in mid-March, but the suspicious couple could not be found, so the police are asking the public to cooperate in the search. Police officer Richard Hrdina reported on the case on Monday.
“Around eleven o’clock in the morning, an unknown man in Dělnická Street in Prague 7 found the victim on the street, and the moment she left her car, he punctured her tire so that she could not leave. Then he followed the woman, watching where she had gone. “After a few minutes as she returned to her vehicle, the unknown man was ready a short distance away,” Hero said.
As the woman got into the car, according to investigators, the thief on the other side of the car opened the door and pulled out the backpack he had hanging over his shoulder. Then he ran to the side street Osadní, where an accomplice in a started car was already waiting for him, because they had gone unknown.
The woman lost credit cards, documents and eyeglasses, but she also had over 660,000 crowns in her backpack.
