Three thousand Russians protested in Prague against the war and Putin
“Russian citizens in the Czech Republic should be able to say out loud and massively: No to war, not to Putin, we are with Ukraine, we are with the Czech Republic, Europe and the whole world against Russian aggression,” the organizers wrote facebook events.

The protesters met at one o’clock in the afternoon on Peace Square. They filled the whole area in front of the church of St. Ludmila. The participants in the demonstration brought transparent points out that the Russians stand against President Vladimir Putin not only in Moscow or St. Petersburg, but also in the Far East and the Urals.
Some had signs in Russian and Czech condemning the Russian attack on a neighboring country. The gathering showed mainly white-blue-white flags symbolizing Russian protests against the war, there were also flags of the European Union, the Czech Republic and Ukraine.
“The gathering is attended by about three thousand people. So far, it has gone without relevant problems, the police are on the spot and supervising the event, “Jan Rybanský, a spokesman for the Prague police, told the News.

The protesters then marched through Prague to the Old Town Square. More than 600 people signed up for the Facebook event.
The protest is organized by the Prague Russian Anti-War Committee, which also organizes charitable collections and charitable events. They have set up a transparent account to which the Russians can contribute to aid in Ukraine. By noon on Saturday, there were 59,000 crowns on it.

The organizer of the event, Anton Litvin, told Hospodářské noviny that the Czechs need to see such an event, because the Russians living in our country are constantly asking how they approach the war.
