Milan Prat expeditious – French Boxing Federation
Milan Prat (14 v) beat the Colombian experimentation Joël Julio (39 v, 11 d) by KO in the first round this Thursday, March 24 at the Intercontinental hotel in Paris.
Initially, the great French hope was to fight the Belgian Amaury Massenaux for the IBF young super-welterweight belt, unfortunately the latter gave up and it was therefore a fight without a title at stake which took place in a prestigious setting. Milan Prat’s reputation is going beyond borders and it is becoming difficult to find him opponents who accept the challenge. Joël Julio is certainly at the end of his career but his experience may have posed some problems for young Prat, but nothing happened.
Unimpressed by the CV of the former double world challenger, Milan Prat was intractable. The Colombian used his front arm, taking care not to stay in the axis and to turn, without rushing, Milan Prat exerted pressure to quickly ring Joël Julio with a short left hook. The French did not hesitate, the Colombian stopped a first left hook before cashing in a second in the liver which sent him to the mat, writhing in pain, Joël Julio was unable to get up. Milan Prat is now planning on the championship of the European Union of super-welterweights, the Spaniard Isaac Real could be his co challenger then the belt is vacant.
During this Parisian evening, the super-welter Bakary Samake (8 v) won largely on points against Pablo Mendoza (10 v, 10 d), a Nicaraguan based in Spain who has the particularity of having acquired before limit all of his wins. Bakary Samake showed great attitudes and real talent without however managing to put his cunning opponent in difficulty. He overtook Pablo Mendoza who remained dangerous with his wide sculling strokes. Pablo Mendoza finished the fight well marked around the eyes, with a little more precision Bakary Samake could have gotten a win before the limit.

The former French welterweight champion, who made his comeback after a painful setback against Mehdi Mouhib, had to work hard to overcome a tough opponent. By being always on him, Houcine Moulahi did not give him a second of respite or the possibility of organizing himself to succeed in his boxing.
The young (20) Mohamed Suleiman Kartoum (7 v, 1 d) disposed on points (59-55; 59-55, 58-56) of Moldovan Ivan Petrov (6 v, 4 d, 2 n). Mohamed Suleiman Kartoum imposed himself by boxing on the faults of his rival and by countering him on his initiatives.
